Janet Butters (Jan), who received her certification in 1985, specializes in preparing and reviewing the following types of returns: flow-through, not-for-profit, transfer, and trust, as well as pension plan, international, and multi-state entities.

She has extensive experience working with real estate professionals. She also has government contractor experience. Jan assists entities with the tax requirements of their initial registrations and ongoing tax compliance.
She researches tax law and develops strategic plans to minimize clients’ current and long-term tax liabilities.

She represents clients, if needed, in the audit process before the Internal Revenue Service and State agencies.
